Focus on what you want to become.

This Week’s Challenge: Focus on what you want to become.

Mirror neurons are a type of brain cell that respond equally when we perform an action and when we simply witness someone else performing the same action. This is why when we see someone else cry, we tear up. If this is how our brain is wired, we need to make sure we are focusing on what we want to become as a person and surrounding ourselves with those who exemplify the same characteristics we want to have. We all know those people who, after hanging out with, we leave feeling negative, defeated, and in a foul mood. We also know those people who lift our spirits, help us feel good about ourselves, and inspire us to do and be better.
