Let it Begin with Me

This Week’s Challenge: Let it Begin with Me

We are responsible for our actions regardless of how others treat us or behave. Are we making a positive contribution to what is happening around us, or are we just standing around waiting for someone else to fix the situation? Are we expecting our needs to be met by someone else? Instead of feeling sorry for ourselves, we need to move forward and determine what we need to do to better ourselves. We can change our attitudes instead of waiting for others to change to suit us.

“Grant to us the serenity of mind to accept that which cannot be changed, courage to change that which can be changed, and wisdom to know the one from the other”—Reinhold Niebuhr
