Ask yourself, who are you listening to?

This Week’s Challenge: Ask yourself, who are you listening to?

Are you listening to the noise others are telling you? Has it become the voice in your own head?

Make sure your internal dialogue is an inner coach and not an inner critic. We are always the hardest on ourselves, and we are great at believing all the lies we tell ourselves. Just because you think it, doesn’t make it true.

Pay attention to what you’re telling yourself. Is it accurate? Is it helpful? Is it encouraging? If not, let it go. There are plenty of voices you can listen to, so choose the one that supports and strengthens you and let it be the one you create.

“People don’t believe what you tell them.

They rarely believe what you show them.

They often believe what their friends tell them.

They always believe what they tell themselves.”—Seth Godin
