Beth Kuykendall is a Licensed Social Worker with over twenty years of experience working with children, adolescents and families. She earned a Master of Social Work degree from Aurora University. She has served as an educator in the Chicago suburbs for 22 years, and has been providing outpatient therapy in the private practice setting for the past two years.
She believes that everyone has a story. It is through those shared stories that we can find our own empowerment. Recalling challenging times can help her clients identify her own potential, strength, and determination.
Beth practices client-centered therapy, with an aim to provide authenticity, empathy, and compassion, fostering a safe space for vulnerability. She approaches therapy from a trauma-informed perspective, integrating diverse, evidence based, therapeutic methods. Her goal is to empower her clients in enhancing both their self-connection and relationships. In her sessions, collaboration and nonjudgmental support are central. She strives to create an environment where her clients feel deeply understood, accepted, and safe to explore possibilities.
Beth works with ages 5 and up, helping clients navigate adhd, mood disorders, anxiety, coping skills, confidence and self-esteem, depression, domestic violence, intimate partner violence, stress, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions.
